Among the most charming images from Amarna are those of Akhenaten and
Nefertiti's six daughters. Cared for by their mother with help from
nurses and servants, the princesses appear frequently in lively and
informal scenes. They are affectionately held by their parents, spontaneously
play and tease one other, and participate actively in religious rituals.
